There are many health and wellness companies all over the world. As a consumer, you want to be sure that the products you choose can benefit you. With Plexus, you can rest assured that your health and well-being is their focus. There is more to the company than selling quality health products to their consumers. Aside from contributing to the health of their consumers, they also give back to people who need all the help that they can get.
The company has made several charitable initiatives in the past until this day. One such initiative is the Nourish One Initiative that focuses on feeding the hungry people across the globe. The company strives to partner with international organizations to keep their initiatives going. They have presently made an announcement for the initiative with a new international partner. They currently partnered with Mary’s Meals. This charity aims to feed 1.3 million children around the world each day to end global child hunger. Plexus pledges to make donations to the charity for each international serving sold from its Plexus Lean product line.
Prior to this, Plexus donated an amount of $25,000 USD to Mary’s Meals at their Super Saturday event held in various cities in Canada and United States. This initial donation has created 250,000 meals for children through the community-run school feeding programs of the charity.
The CEO and Founder of Plexus, Tarl Robinson, was joyous to announce this new partnership they have with Mary’s Meals. Establishing this partnership is beneficial to ending child hunger throughout the poorest communities around the world. Their efforts do not end with the initial donation. Through replacement shakes made in the new Plexus Lean line, the company and thousands of Canadian Plexus Ambassadors know that this noble cause will not go to waste.
Community volunteers make a significant contribution to Mary’s Meals. Through these efforts, the organization has set up school feeding programs in seventeen countries considered as the most impoverished in the world. Some of these countries include India, Kenya, Malawi, Haiti, Liberia, Syria, and Thailand. Their programs are centered on not only feeding children but encouraging them to go to school than beg or work for food.
With the partnership of Mary’s Meals and Plexus, they strive to make people around the world be aware of the 61 million children suffering from hunger on a worldwide scale. Plexus will make sure to offer support to volunteers of the charity so that children in poverty regardless of their location will get the right education and nourishment they need. These children are often from war-torn areas and are merely born into their present situations. The donations provided by the partnership will provide these children and their families a way out of poverty.
